Two Convenient Ways To Schedule
Call During Business Hours
How We’re Serving Our Community
For 80 years our focus has been on making decisions “for the patient.” That’s why we swiftly respond to COVID-19 updates by implementing protocols to ensure the safety of our patients and our staff as we are open for routine visits.
We understand that maintaining your eye health is essential to your overall health. As an eye care provider and medical office, we work hard to keep our staff, patients, and general public safe so as an organization we will continue to operate with elevated safety protocols. At this time masks are still required in our offices.
Please call us for more information about scheduling an eye health examination.
How We’re Keeping You Safe
Each precaution we’re taking and every change we’re making is with your safety in mind. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our facilities safe for those around you. The following safety protocols will be in effect at all Bard Optical locations:
- Our staff will be outfitted with the necessary protective gear including masks and/or shields at all times.
- Our offices will be following Executive Orders and following mandates as they are put into place.
- We will be taking steps to limit exposure by disinfecting surfaces and enforcing proper social distancing procedures.
- During peak times fewer appointments will be scheduled per day to limit in-office traffic and to ensure sufficient time to thoroughly disinfect equipment, surfaces, and frames in between patients.
For your convenience, you can purchase contact lenses online and have them shipped directly to your home.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Although you may not be able to see our huge smiles from behind our masks, we are looking forward to seeing you!
If you are not feeling well, please call us to reschedule your appointment. For everyone’s safety, we are unable to permit anyone with a fever (higher than 99.9 degrees) or any “flu-like” symptoms to enter.
To facilitate appropriate social distancing, we may limit the number of people in our offices at any given time. We kindly ask that you come alone to your appointment. In the case of children or those needing special assistance, one additional guest will be permitted. All patients and visitors must wear masks inside in our offices. We encourage you to bring your own mask if you have access to one.
Bard Optical is here to take care of you in every sense of the word. When you arrive at our office, you will be greeted at the door and we will show you to a safe waiting space. When it’s time for your appointment, a member of our staff will escort you to an exam room. Once it’s time to select your glasses, an optician will bring a selection of frames to a freshly disinfected area for you to try on. By taking additional precautions to provide you with an unparalleled level of service!
Went there for my daughter’s first eye exam for school and they were fantastic. The wait time wasn’t too terribly long and they were very kind and patient with my daughter. I highly recommend them.” – S.F.
It was a friendly and professional environment. I felt very comfortable and wait time for everything wasn’t very long. I had a great experience.” – A.C.
