Our Medical Approach to Eye Care

At Bard Optical, you can expect only the most thorough and comprehensive care available. Our optometrists don’t just evaluate your vision when we update your glasses or contact lens prescription — instead, our eye doctors look at the health of your eyes as a whole.

Many eye conditions develop without symptoms, which is why you deserve eye care that looks a little deeper. We’ll use our advanced equipment to look at your whole eye health and detect diseases early. This is especially important because providing early diagnosis and treatment is vital in managing these conditions and maintaining your eyesight.

Eye Health Exams

Whether or not you wear eyewear, annual eye health exams are essential to the overall health of your eyes. Our optometrists at Bard Optical stand by our medical approach to eye exams in order to make sure your vision is clear. We also evaluate your color perception and perform several other customized tests to screen for symptoms of common and uncommon eye conditions.

Getting to know you also means getting to know your lifestyle and needs, so we can pair you with the perfect eyewear. Our opticians will help you browse our selection of designer frames so that you can find the right pair for your lifestyle — and once you’ve found the glasses for you, we’ll fit them with custom lenses at our optical lab.

Contact Lenses
for Everyone

We understand that everyone’s eyes are different, and contact lenses are not one-size-fits-all. If you’ve been unsatisfied or uncomfortable with your contacts in the past, we can help! During your contact lens evaluation, our optometrists take special care to make sure your contacts are a perfect fit for your eyes.

Plus, having access to our online contact lens store means you can order and reorder your lenses at any time, because we want to make sure you never run out!
