Our Medical Approach to Eye Care in Sterling
At Bard Optical, our team uses advanced technology to perform tests and screenings that give us a better insight into your whole eye health. Many eye diseases develop slowly, without exhibiting any symptoms until they present the risk of severe vision loss. Our unique, medical approach to eye care allows us to detect a variety of diseases early, giving our patients the ability to get treatment before their eye conditions become more serious.
Sterling Eye Care Services
The key to enjoying clear eyesight throughout your life is scheduling routine eye health exams. During a comprehensive eye health exam at Bard Optical, we use advanced imaging and screening tools to ensure that your eyes are healthy and functioning properly. If we find any signs of disease, we can provide treatment or refer you out to a local specialist. We’ll also evaluate your vision, and if you need eyewear, update your vision prescription so that your new glasses or contacts can help you see clearly.
Your glasses do more than just correct your vision — they also reflect your personality. We carry a large collection of glasses, from more basic styles to designer frames, because we want everyone to find the perfect pair of eyewear for their style and budget. Once our Sterling opticians have helped you find your new frames, we’ll fit them with state-of-the-art lenses in our optical lab in Peoria.
People who wear contact lenses want to feel like they’re not wearing any eyewear at all. At Bard Optical, we carefully measure your eyes so that we can set you up with the perfect size, brand, and style of lenses for a comfortable fit. We’ll teach you how to properly care for your contacts, and when you need to reorder your lenses, you can do so from the comfort and convenience of your home by visiting our online contact lens store.
